While online slots are a game of chance, there are certain steps you can take to put the odds in favor and win big jackpots.

Are betting systems useful for slots?

Slot betting systems aren’t very common but they do exist. One of them is the Pyramid slots system.

This is a non-progressive form of bet, but you can increase your bet linearly for a specified number of rounds and then decrease it the same way it was raised.

It is basically like betting in this order: 1 coin, 2 coins, 3 coins, 4 coins, 5 coins, 6 coins, 5 coins, 4 coins, 3 coins, 2 coins, 1 coin. The main advantage of this betting scheme is that it enables you to win big with a high wager and you are able to save your bankroll at the same time.

Another type of betting system is aptly called ‘one bet a day’. Due to the fact that a lot of players find it expensive to allot $1-$3 for a spin, to help them control their slot machine gambling, they devised this system to limit their betting.

This scheme is especially applicable to online slots where gamblers can really play slot machines each day. Given the fact that online slots are accessible anytime and anywhere that there is an Internet connection, this scheme should be plausible. Do this for a long time and one day you might just hit the coveted jackpot.

The high-low system is another popular slot machine betting scheme. Here you can make your bet high or low depending on the outcome of each spin. Set two wager amounts, $2 and $6 for example and you can bet either amount alternately.

The Martingale system is the most widely used slot betting system. It is effective for other casino games namely Baccarat ad Blackjack.

Here the player would wager twice the amount he previously bet every time he or she loses. This is not recommended as slot machines tend to have high variance. A high variance means you have to wait for a long time before you can get back the amount you wagered through winnings.
